Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions buyers most often ask about sourcing and exporting a used vehicle from China.

Are the vehicles on this site real listings?

The current inventory is DEMO DATA used to demonstrate how the platform works — it is not a set of real vehicles for sale. When real inventory is added, each listing will show the vehicle information we hold, clearly marked with its confidence level.

Can you source a vehicle that is not in your inventory?

Yes. Tell us the brand, model, year, budget and destination using the Request a Car form, and we will look for options in China's market. Availability depends on the vehicle and current market supply.

How do I request a quote?

Find a vehicle and use the Request Quote button on its listing, or use the Request a Car form to describe your requirements. We will get back to you with availability, price and export information.

What does the listed price include?

The listed price is the asking price for the vehicle only. It may vary based on configuration, shipping, taxes and destination, and does not include shipping, insurance, taxes or import duties (landed costs).

What information do I need to provide to source a vehicle?

The most useful details are your destination country, brand or model (or vehicle type), year range, budget, quantity and any requirements such as fuel type, condition or mileage limits.

How long does export take?

Export time depends on the vehicle, documentation requirements, the shipping route and the destination. We confirm an estimated timeline when you request a quote.

What documents are required to export a vehicle from China?

Exporting a vehicle commonly involves a commercial invoice, packing list, vehicle documents, export and shipping documents, and a bill of lading, plus customs-related documents. Exact requirements depend on the vehicle, the export arrangement and the destination country.

How is a vehicle's condition reported?

We publish the condition information we hold, as supplied by the source, and mark each detail with a confidence level — verified, provided, estimated or not available. Where a detail is not held, we say so rather than guessing.

Do you provide inspection reports?

We present the inspection information we hold for a vehicle. Inspection availability depends on the vehicle and buyer requirements; not every vehicle has a full inspection report. Where a third-party inspection is required, we advise on options.

What payment terms do you use?

Payment terms are confirmed during the transaction and depend on the vehicle, the arrangement and the destination. We do not request payment outside a confirmed, documented transaction. Verify that any payment instructions come from our confirmed contact channels.

What is the difference between FOB, CIF and CFR?

FOB, CIF and CFR are shipping terms (Incoterms) that define who pays for and is responsible for the goods at each stage. FOB means the seller delivers to the port of origin; CIF adds insurance; CFR includes freight but not insurance. See our guide for the full explanation.

How do I estimate the landed cost of a vehicle?

Landed cost is the vehicle price plus freight, insurance, customs duties, taxes and port charges. We explain the components and method in our landed cost guide, and the Import Tools sub-site has calculators. Final figures are confirmed at quote time.

Can you recommend vehicles suitable for my market?

Yes. Tell us your destination market and requirements, and we can recommend vehicles suitable for that market and look for options to source.

How do I contact you?

You can reach us by email or WhatsApp using the details on the Contact page, or submit the Request a Car form and we will get back to you.
